Muravlenkovskneft Branch Set a New Record in Drilling

Well Construction Department of Muravlenkovskneft Branch, OJSC Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz, set a penetration rate record of 1,158 meters/day during construction of Well No. 1987, Pad No. 40S of Sugmutskoe Field. Previous penetration record of 1,125 meters/day was also recorded at Sugmutskoe Field. Public Relations Section of Muravlenkovskneft Branch reported that to Sever-Press News Agency.

Drilling Contractor ERIELL-Neftegazservice LLC is performing well drilling. Close interaction between specialists of Well Construction Department and specialists of drilling and service contractors along with application of advanced equipment made it possible for drillers to penetrate the rock with record meter figure. Average daily penetration across Muravlenkovskneft Branch totals 350-400 meters per drill site. Drilling employs modern technologies and equipment selected individually for each well depending on assigned objectives and tasks. Development drilling is currently proactive at Vyngayakhinskoe, Sugmutskoe, and Ety-Purovskoe Fields. Sever-Press News Agency reports that drilling at Umseiskoe and Krainee Fields is scheduled to start in third quarter of this year.
