Maybe, the main feature of the people of Uzbekistan was and remains mercy. It is customary here to support and give a helping hand to those in need. ERIELL Group always readily responds to requests for help and support.
Thus, on the eve of Kurban Hayit, the holy day for Muslims, ERIELL Group held a charity event for the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Hematology Medical Center.
The statistics of malignant blood diseases reveal unfavorable figures. The morbidity of the blood system is 8-10 new cases per 100000 population per year, which gives about 2500 primary patients (adults and children). Tumors of hematopoietic and lymphoid tissues account for approximately 8% of all malignant neoplasms and collectively are among the 6 most common types of cancers. In addition, aplastic and hemolytic anemias and congenital immunodeficiencies are included in the group of blood system diseases that are difficult to cure. Treatment of such patients requires huge financial expenses; all over the world, the cost of treatment of this category of patients is considered to be the most expensive.
The government of Uzbekistan is taking measures to reform the hematological service and improve the conditions of patients in hospitals. Based on the Presidential Decree No. 5130 dated May 27, 2021, a set of measures for further development and improvement of oncohematological care of the population up to the level of international standards has been developed.
To support the Hematology Center at the stage of reform, ERIELL Group allocated 200 million soms. This money was used to purchase medicines for chemotherapy, latest generation antibiotics as well as drying machines, footwear for the staff, and pajama sets for patients.
On the eve of the holidays, the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Hematology Center was visited by employees of ERIELL Group led by the head of RBE Central Asia Bakhrombek Ismailov and representatives of several domestic media.
A small performance with characters from the book about Leo the lion cub was arranged for the children undergoing in-patient treatment. The characters of the cautionary tale managed to put a light on the eyes of young patients, who were going through a very unchildish ordeal. After the performance, the ERIELL Group staff gave memorable presents to the children.
Further, the visitors of Scientific and Practical Hematology Medical Center were shown two new renovated buildings allocated by the state for the separate approach to the treatment of adults and children. Here, shortly, adult patients (160 beds) and children, for whom 140 beds are being prepared, will be able to undergo in-patient treatment with separate accommodation.
ERIELL Group plans to continue supporting the Hematology Medical Center, as well as other socially significant facilities in the future. It is good to see that the fight against a terrible disease is not in vain. This is evidenced by the poster with the handprints of the little patients, who have overcome the disease and returned to the happy time of childhood after going through a difficult ordeal.
